About Terrie
Terrie Hodges (formally known as Theresa Fitzgerald) is an emerging artist who uses her own history to explore lived experiences through multiple media. With a focus on printmaking, Terrie also has an interest in ceramics, photography, textile arts, sculpture and installation. With an aim to bring sometimes difficult subject matter into the public sphere, Terrie wants to continue to develop her practice with a focus on the often difficult experience of growing up in dysfunctional households and how those experiences helped or hindered her into adult life. Terrie also looks at the progression of chronic health issues she has been dealing with starting in her late 20s and the impact that this has had on her and her family.
